Karl DorrellKarl Dorrell (born December 18, 1963) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL), a position he assumed in February 2012. Dorrell served as the head football coach of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2003 to 2007, compiling a record of 35–27. He led the UCLA Bruins to five bowl appearance in five seasons, but did not coach in the fifth after he was fired in December 2007.
